| Introduction | My name is Vanessa. I grew up in the Southern part of the US, where my love for cooking has been handed down through the generations. I can not remember a time when I wasn't in the kitchen cooking with my Mom. One of my favorite memories was that every Saturday night, I would cook a chocolate cake for my Dad. My family and I moved to Denmark in 2010. Through my time here and our family travels, I have been inspired to expand my cooking style beyond Southern cooking with the occasional Italian dish thrown in. It has certainly been an adventure so far and I have decided it's time to document it. As an added bonus, it will give me a great reference list for all those recipes I find on the internet, yet can't find again when I try and cook the dish a second time around! |
