Introduction ********** I'm a mom! AND a Gramma! I have to admit the Gramma part may coughiscough more fun than the Mom part. Dirty diapers? Nuh uh. Up all nights? Only if I absolutely must!  My husband and I have 7 children between us. Don't laugh... He had 3 boys when we married, I had 3 girls. Go ahead... say it. Then we had a beautiful little girl together - River. Hats, Etc. came about in 2010 when I began making hats for a friend’s baby. Being on Facebook, I also posted pictures of these hats, and began getting requests to make more. The internet, being the wonderful thing it is, offered up suggestions on hats to make. As I began getting more requests and people started paying ($$) me, I figured I could make hats to sell in the winter months, and in the summer months I would sew clothes. I absolutely love to sew. My River was the most fashionable kindergartner her first year! I love making the most gorgeous clothes for her. However, Hats, Etc. literally exploded, and I have not been able to use my sewing machine in a very long time. This year, I will try to manage my time and orders a little better to remedy that.
Interests *************************** Calculus - I've always wanted to teach it to myself. Spanish... I really should learn it. Paxtons are EXTREMELY interesting! (and good kissers!!)
Favorite Movies ************************** Zombies. I'm not a chick flick or drama movie person. We have teenagers! Who needs added drama?? Unless there's a zombie that jumps out of the woodwork at some point and bites the mother of the tiara-ed beauty - I don't want to watch it. Although, I do get really caught up in true crime documentaries.
Favorite Music **************************** Anything that makes me want to move! Most of the music I listen to is on the treadmill - so it has to have that beat that's going to make moving a necessity! Lady Gaga, Eminem, Linkin Park...
Favorite Books ***************************** Just about anything by Stephen King. (surprised?) John Saul. Some Dean Koontz, but his are a little unsettling..... some of his stuff is almost like stuff that COULD happen. Clive Barker, Edgar Allan Poe, Lovecraft.... you get the picture.
