Favorite Books Too many to count! I am a relentless and almost constant reader-- 2008/09 top picks: Several volumes of Mary Oliver's poetry; quite a few of the required reading for my internship turned out to be exceptional, especially The Return of the Prodigal Son, by Henri Nouwen, The Wounded Healer, also by Nouwen; The Art of Christian Listening, by Thos. Hart; The Beatitudes: Soundings in Christian Tradition, by Simon Tugwell; Spirituality of the Beatitudes: Matthew's Vision for the Church in an Unjust World by MIchael H. Crosby. I've not done much reading for pleasure, this year, too much class work. I hope to return to the most recent 'Ladies Detective Series' by Alexander McColl Smith plus more poetry over the summer break!
