The Farmer Files

About Me

I love San Diego! In 1998 I told my mom I was coming home for our wedding, and didn't want a reception inside 4 walls. No! I wanted guests to see the San Diego Bay! And that is just where the love of my life and I saw fireworks on our 4th of July wedding. We met in a UCLA elevator in 1996, right where the Farmer Files really began! After many years we are back in San Diego with our two, soon to be three, little boys. This blog started about our life in Hawaii. It was called "Lost on Oahu." You can read those stories in the archives.(And yes, Hubs and I were on LOST.)But God landed us back in San Diego. Now we have every intention of showing our boys what locals call "America's Finest City." Come along! I post pictures so you can visit San Diego too. And by the way, I LOVE Flat Stanley projects. Email if I can help! Once upon a time I was a teacher before staying at home with my boys. I earned a degree in History from UCLA, a teaching credential from CSUN, and a degree in Supervision and Administration from UVA. I consider those my minor accomplishments. Now I am blessed beyond measure to be at home with our children, and to walk hand in hand with my husband building a Godly home.
