Introduction I love architecture and miniatures. All my life I have been making things. Art lessons started at a very early age. In my teens and twenties my interest was fiber and textile arts. But I always wanted to do woodworking and started buying tools here and there until now 40 years later I have great workshop. As a single mother the best paying job I could find in the 1970s was building airplanes at Boeing. In 1993 I left Boeing and began creating miniature buildings in a workshop I set up for myself. In just over a year I had my first show as a featured artist at the top gallery in Seattle. Wow I would never have imagined it could happen that fast, I certainly did not pay my dues on that one. In this blog you will find me describing doing many techniques I have never tried before in the ongoing quest to become a master of miniatures.
