Introduction I've worked in libraries for 13 years, five years at the Stoughton Public Library and eight at the Ames Free Library in Easton! I love working with the public. I'm attending Simmons College for my MLIS.

Favorite Movies Some of my favs are are: 16 Candles, Dirty Dancing, Grease, Breakfast Club, Stand By Me, Dogfight(love River Phoenix), Bad Boys(w/Sean Penn), Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Home Alone, Crybaby(gotta love Johnny Depp), Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, I heart Huckabees, A Muppet Christmas Carol, Halloween(the original!!!), The Prestige, Juno, Superbad, Getting over Sarah Marshall, Newsies, The Sandlot, Little Darlings!!!!! I am now obsessed with TWILIGHT!!!!
Favorite Music Everything, especially jazz and blues! In my cd player now: Frank Sinatra, Fujiya & Miyagi, Ray Lamontagne, Jenny lewis, Alice Smith. I love everything and am always going to concerts! I've seen Amos Lee, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, John Mayer, Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, Norah Jones, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, The National, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page(as close to Led Zep as I'll get), Bob Dylan, The Other Ones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, REM, Aerosmith, Franz Ferdinand w/CutCopy(I love them), Katie Melua, Madeleine Peyroux, Martha Wainwright, Madonna, Snoop Dogg and probably everyone you can think of. I love up and coming artists and listen to 88.9, the Emerson College station a lot. I try not to miss Strictly Sinatra every Saturday night from 7-12 on 99.1 and I'm also a fan of the Great American Songbook show featured on the same station on Sundays from 7-12.
Favorite Books Some of my favs are "Catcher in the Rye" by JD Salinger, "Prodigal Summer" and "Animal Dreams" by Barbara Kingsolver(I love all of her books!), "A Midsummer Nights Dream"(and all that is Shakespeare!), "Walden" by Henry david Thoreau, "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding and so many more! Some of my fav contemporary authors are Alice Hoffman, Charles Baxter, Jennifer Weiner, Adriana Trigiani, Joyce Carol Oates, Susan Fletcher....
