| Introduction | The short version of my story is that I was born in Vancouver, raised in Spain between the islands of Mallorca, Ibiza and Tenerife. I fell in love with a Canadian man I met while he was on vacation with his father. The vacation was supposed to have been his fathers honeymoon (third failed marriage ouch); so he invited my future husband along instead. He used to get a kick out of telling his friends that his son met his future wife on his honeymoon. He convinced me to leave the lovely Canary Islands and move to Calgary Alberta, where according to my mama they actually plug in their cars in winter. I didn't believe her, being a West Coast girl, (see my sisters blog West Coast Journal link at the bottom) so I threw caution to the wind, and returned to my Canadian homeland, where there are four seasons, white Christmases, the rockies, Banff and many more beautiful places. There is also my husband and two wonderful kids now to share it with...this site is a pictorial journey of my life since I left Spain.
