| Introduction | My name is Dixie and I'm an undergraduate at the University of Missouri in Columbia. I've been working since I was 15, which began my love of a black cup of coffee. What I hope to do someday is make it into graduate school for physical therapy. It's a tough school to get into, so if I don't make it, I'm thinking I might just open a bakery. I started this blog because I love to cook and bake, and need somewhere to organize my thoughts and experiences. Although I'm a poor college student, food is extremely important to me. I'm a strong believer in making food from scratch, eating organic, and minimizing processed foods. I love to try new things, and make up my own recipes. I hope that through documenting my culinary crusades, I'll be able to grow and develop as an individual. |
