| Favorite Movies | I'm not a huge movie lover. But if I have to list them, my favorites are Pride & Predjudice, Emma, and Sense & Sensibility. Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea are wonderful as well. Is that all? Probably. I don't like anything with time constraints (they stress me out). I also avoid movies with misunderstandings (I really hate when characters fail to communicate accurately), near misses (think American Tale, where poor Fivel narrowly misses bumping into his family...if only he would turn around and LOOK!), and I especially dislike movies with a villian. Villians are scary and cause me undue stress. So that leaves out any sort of adventure movie, Superhero movie, or Disney movie. And that probably explains why I can only list five favorite movies! |
| Favorite Music | Um....I'm pretty simple! Music with one instrument is always nice. I don't have favorite artists-just favorite songs. Like How Deep The Father's Love, In Christ Alone, Blessed Be, Petra's Coloring Song, Storybook Love, and a few others. Elvis Costello is good-too bad about his politics though! I can also listen to Simon & Garfunkel, thanks to my ex-hippie parents. Billy Joel and Fernando Ortega are also good. |
| Favorite Books | Anything by Jane Austen-especially Pride & Predjudice, Emma and Mansfield Park. I loved The Chronicles of Narnia (The Horse and His Boy was my favorite) and The Bible (my current favorite is Philippians, but that usually changes as I start a new chapter). I also love anything by Louisa May Alcott. |
