| Introduction | I am a Mainer, turned Madrilena, turned New Yorker, soon to be Tico. I believe that life is about making human connections. I feel blessed to have found such comfort and security in my early twenties in Queens. But then it hit me that I didn’t want to be using the words “comfort” and “security” to describe my life in my early twenties.
