Introduction I just graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. I now begin my life as a wandering farmer and Seed Saver!! This blog is about my year around the world as a Watson Fellow. I was awarded Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for 2008-2009 to study Seed Saving and the Preservation of Genetic Diversity in India, Italy, Thailand, Ethiopia, Canada, Mexico, and Peru. The Watson Fellowship is an award that "provides 50 college seniors of unusual promise funding for a year of research, independent exploration, and travel outside the United States."
Interests Food, sustainable agriculture, preservation of agricultural diversity, baking bread, music, hiking/backpacking, dinners with friends, seed saving, poetry, etc.
