Not originally a hat fan, that's for sure. But now I can't even imagine my life without my collection of hats. Remember when visors were popular, then those flex-fits with the curved brims. I used to try cutting out the buckram and wetting the hat and wrapping the brim with rubber bands with a rolled up t-shirt inside to get the perfect fit and shape. Man, that was a pain! From there, trucker hats came around, but it was hard to find ones that were fitted and they were pretty cheaply made. Nowadays, I go for the 5950, or as I say '59-fitty'. You just can't beat this hat with the shape that we all know from MLB players on the field - "you betta keep that brim flat though!" Styles will keep changing and I have a whole room of hats to prove it! . Oh yeah, and don't forget there are always styles other than 'caps' like beanies (with and without the brim), boot camps or military 'Castro' type hats, driving or golf style caps, and now fedora's to name a few.
