| Introduction | Living in Taipei, Taiwan - the capital city of a little island off the southeast coast of China - where I teach English and enjoy the local foods. I try to travel enough to make it not worth peoples' time to get my current address. I'm planning to try my hand at a bit of freelance travel writing and creating some Taiwan travel resources in my spare time - we'll see. My cat, Tarzan, and I live together in a hostel in the center of Taipei, which is home to about six milion people. The culture here is more of a traditional Chinese culture, although that's changing within Taipei City. In greater Taiwan, however, people tend to follow the old traditions quite closely. My Wanderlust blog is going to be, at this point, mostly about my life in Taiwan, including its food, culture, and tourist destinations. In addition, all of my personal oddities and hobbies, as well as my friends and my cat. All that really sums up my life. |

I bet Siamese Fighting Fish would probably appreciate the use of a bike to get to a fight in the next puddle over.
