About Me

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. Today I am a gay poet who tells everyone they have to love each other or perish. Today I am a lovable old monk with flat feet and a cartoon smile who tells you to sit down dear, and tell me all about it. Today I am a desperate woman looking for metaphors to document my descent into madness. Today I am a freelancer who tells a friend, but you don't know what it's like to be lonely; it makes you do crazy things. Today, I talk to inanimate objects and they tell me secrets. (I can't tell you what, I promised). I swirl in and out of the picture, disappearing before you can take my image. And that's just today.

The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?

I would keep away from biology students who want to pin my inert, chloroformed body in wax, cut open my skin and tweeze my heart.
