About Me

Please click on "My Web Page" for my updated profile and blog. I am a former professor of Higher Education and an academic at heart. My Academic Credentials: Assoc., Electrical Engineering; B.S. Ed. - Univ. of Houston; M.Ed. - Univ. of Houston; Ed.D. - Univ. of Houston; Ph.D. - Univ. of Texas. Visiting Professsor: (1) University of Alaska, (2) College of the Bahamas, (3) Arkansas State University. I am now retired, but I still advise (coach) Doctoral students on their dissertations. My wife (a medical professional and corporate executive) and I spend most of our time traveling, investing in real estate, and gourmet cooking (we DO NOT eat in restaurants, except when traveling). I spend my time divided among our small horse ranch in Arkansas, primary home in Texas, condo in North Carolina, timeshare in the Yucatan, our clinic in the UK, and with my wife who is presently on temporary assignment in Maryland.

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

Well, I have never tasted a penny, and I have all of my teeth . . . so this question is moot (and a bit moronic, in my opinion).
