| Introduction | I was born and raised in the state of Utah. At the age of five I dictated a short story to my parents and I have been writing ever since. I hold a degree in English Literature and Writing from the State University of New York in Potsdam, where I wrote my honors thesis on "Fantastic Transformation and Free Will," addressing the foundation of Biblical themes in mythological and fantastic literature. Among my upcoming projects is my master's thesis novel, which I am working on through Goddard College for my M.F.A. in Creative Writing. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I live with my beautiful wife, Melissa, and our three children, Lindon, James, and Greta, in Upstate New York. |
