About Me

The George M. Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond affords the community a unique opportunity to experience the arts in all its diverse forms. The state-of-the-art facility brings together the performing and visual arts under one roof in a complex of theatres, galleries, studios and classrooms. The goals of the Modlin Center include presenting the best music, theatre and dance performances and visual arts exhibitions, helping cultivate a strong sense of cultural awareness among the entire university community and serving as a link between the University and the greater Richmond community. Through aggressive and innovative scheduling of art exhibits and music, theatre and dance programs, the Modlin Center has proven to be an arts facility of the highest caliber.
