| Introduction | My name is Dave Sugarman. I was a born and bred Bluebird who began supporting Cardiff City in March 1975 and missed just two home games in all competitions until June 2012, when Malaysian owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan decided strip the club of its identity and dignity while introducing his ridiculous re-branding exercise. I haven't attended a Bluebirds match since. I've been a frequent contributor to the brilliant cardiffcity.com message board under the username 'The Lone Gunman' for about fourteen years or so and, much to the annoyance of numerous re-brand apologists, continue to post there despite the fact that I no longer support the football club. This blog was originally set up in November 2009. As my bond with Cardiff City and the majority of its supporters has rapidly diminished during the past two years, I have decided to delete most of my contributions, leaving just a handful which I consider are still relevant to some degree. |
