| Introduction | Silma converted to Islam nearly 40 years ago after travelling to Indonesia, is mother of 6, grandmother of 10. She established the Muslim Women’s Shop and Centre in 1979, pioneered Islamic schooling with Al Noori in 1983 then Noor Al Houda Islamic College in 1995.. Quals: Dip Ed, M Ed Admin, M A Hons, M A Isl Stud. She is currently Director and CEO of Diversity Skills Training www.diversityskills.edu.au and President of the Australian Muslim Women's Association. |
