| Introduction | Renee Pierce Williams was born and raised in Georgia. After college, she began her seventeen-year career with a Fortune 500 Company. She held positions focusing mainly in the Marketing and Legal Documentation divisions of the company. Renee's love for animals began at a very early age. Throughout her life, she has raised and cared for all types of animals, large and small. She began showing horses around age twelve. She joined the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) in 1998 and began showing professionally. She currently owns and operates an in-home pet care business called Animates, which she started in 2002. She launched her debut children's book in June of 2012 called "Buck the Good Doog." The book holds a five-star rating and has been nominated for the Georgia Children's Book Award (GCBA). Williams is currently working on her second book to be released in 2013. She currently lives in Georgia with her husband, daughter and her beloved pets.
