About Me
This is my own personal blog which has nothing to do officially with my trade union, my employer or the Labour Party. These are my own views. I was brought up in North Wales and have lived in Leeds and Edinburgh. I have worked as a Housing Estate officer in East London for the past 17 years. I am a UNISON steward, Group Convenor, Branch health & safety officer, Labour Link (APF) Officer; Communications Officer, LBTH LGPS pension rep; Chair UNISON Capital Stewardship Forum; London UNISON Regional Finance Convener; Regional Labour Link (APF) and Health & Safety Committee delegate; UNISON delegate to SERTUC Committee; West Ham Labour Party Agent, Trade Union Liaison Officer; Campaign Co-ordinator, GC, EC & LGC delegate. Leeds University graduate, Practitioner member of Chartered Institute of Housing (CIOH) and Technical member of Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) ...and general busy bee.
