Introduction Born in Florida in the mid-40s. As a child lived in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Cleveland. Attended military school in IN and college in OH. Worked in public relations in Lansing (MI) for ten years, then edited the newspaper of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan for a year and a half before leaving for seminary in New York City in 1981. Ordained deacon in 1984, priest in 1985. Ministered in the Detroit Metro Area 1984-2008, first as a "settled" pastor in two congregations and, since 1996, as an interim ministry specialist serving seven parishes. In 2008 I moved to Western Michigan for my eighth and last interim assignment. I have long planned to retire in Northeast Lower Michigan.
