| Introduction | Hi. My name is Jake. I am a gay male living in Los Angeles. Writing for me is both an escape and a form of therapy. It has helped, along with years of therapy, to make sense of and put a face to my mental state. That face, as it turned out, was PTSD. I hope, if you decide to read anything here, to at least entertain you for a brief moment. If something I write resonates with you and what you're going through or where you've been, then I hope you've found solace knowing that you are not alone in what you are feeling. Sometimes that's the best we can ask for. |
