Introduction I am the wife of a wonderful Christian man. We have been married for 42 yr's. I am the mother of 2 beautiful daughters who are both married to Christian men. I am a grandmother to 6 beautiful children, and love every minute of it. Also I have been the foster Grandmother to over 20 children. Our oldest daughter and husband have 5 lovely children, 3 girls and 2 boys, and our youngest daughter and husband have one handsome son who has just gotton taller then his Nana! Actually, at this point, 4 of my grandchildren are taller then me. I am blessed to still have my mother of 93 yr's. My sweet father was taken to heaven about 2 years ago at age 94, I have one brother who was suddenly taken home to heaven in 2010 just 1 month short of his 62nd birthday. I get my blog name, NANA PORCUPINE, from beeing a Nana, which I love, put together with the word Porcupine from the area or town on the reservation where we do misson work.
Interests I enjoy outdoor things such as gardening, flowers, fishing and going up in the hills. I enjoy spending time with my family. I thourally enjoy taking pictures with my digital camera. It captures many memories. My husband and I are active in our Lutheran church. My husband and I along with others from our mission team spend the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, at a small town called Porcupine, having church service and sunday school to teach people of Gods great love through Jesus His Son.
Favorite Movies I like the older clasics. I had the oportunity to see the Nativity Story this Advent season and enjoyed it very much. I like movies that are not X rated or have a lot of horror or murder.
Favorite Music I like hymn's, praise and worship, country and easy listening. I attend a lot of Blue Grass jams and festivals as my husband Jeff really enjoys playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and fiddle.
Favorite Books The Bible and Love Comes Softly series.

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?

My favorite TV program at the time is Prison Break. Home and Garden, Hallmark and Fox news.
