Introduction	I love the simplicity of riding a bike. I love the silence of the world when pedaling down the road. I love transporting myself under my own power. I love the uncomplicated mechanics of a bike. I love the way I feel when I'm riding. Simply said, I love bikes! Which is how "For the Love of Bikes" began. That love of bikes has grown into - bike trips, supported bike tours, finding new places to bike, local bike rides, riding for fitness/fun, bicycling advocacy, commuting, reading bike travel books, and watching professional bike racing – like the Tour de France and UCI Pro Tour race -- and blogging about it all.
