About Me

Originally from Florida, Stephanie and I met at Grace College, and subsequently pursued ministry at The Chapel, where we were married in 1992 and served for fifteen years. Our entire family loves the opportunity to lead other families to know God personally. In addition to our wonderful families, God has richly blessed us along the way with deep, authentic friendships and four beautiful children. Our family can usually be found near a body of water, enjoying sailing, waterskiing, swimming, and sand castles. We love camping, and believe that heaven might actually be located in the mountains near Asheville, NC. Recently our family made a decision to temporarily say goodbye to our friends in Akron and join an exciting group of people in Jacksonville, Florida for the work of starting a new church. We're excited! The kids will miss sledding in the winter, but we won't miss shoveling snow, and we invite everyone to visit us near the warm beaches of sunny Florida!

In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?

I believe that was answered in an episode of "Seinfeld."
