About Me
I have always had an interest in the lavish Victorian lifestyle of the late 1800's and early 1900's. For the rich, they could not have too much of anything including decorative items for their homes. Porcelain, pottery, sterling, wall hangings, oils on canvas, furniture. Every square foot had to hold something. This was a sign of prestige. Today, I am one of thousands of people that enjoy finding and collecting all of these intriguing pieces from a century ago. I appreciate the craftsmanship and work involved in producing these wonderful items. Porcelain is my favorite collectible; especially hand painted items. China and porcelain painting became a hobby of elite young ladies of the late 19th and early 20th century time. Many painted their entire dowry set of china. Other ladies (and men) went to work for the Pickard Studios who boast the most lavish of pieces filled with gold and artistry. If you enjoy beautiful things, you'll enjoy just shopping my store. I love what I sell and I collect what I love. My Best to You, Vicki
