Introduction Nearly my entire adult life has been spent working with metal. Those prior jobs were merely preparing me for the career I had been destined for: machine tool operation. After coming back to school, changing my major to the general Associates degree in ACTC's Machine Tool Technology program, and owning and operating the machines I have, I'm positive I've found my life's calling. Accuracy and precision fit my personality like a tailor-made suit; I was born to run this equipment. While my current machines may be hobby-sized, my goals are full-sized: to eventually have my own shop where both the smaller and quality larger, more conventional machine tools in both manual and CNC versions will provide the majority of my income. My mind and talent would be wasted doing anything less, so I started this blog to document the modifications to these machines in preparation for my future business ventures. Disclaimer: follow this blog at your own risk-I cannot be held responsible for the use, misuse, or abuse of your own equipment or the incompetence of your actions. Interests Nerdy things like machining and electronics...

All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?

I'd look up the number of the person I were going to call next on my cellphone; address books are outdated. If I dropped my cell phone, I'd make sure it was still functioning.
