| Introduction | I am married with 4 children and 6 grandchildren. After being 'released' from working for Eagle Star Insurance Company I have found myself occupied in a variety of ways and have since spent 2 or 3 months out of the Country each year. Recently I have found myself in Africa and Monze, Zambia is like a second home. In the past 17 years I have spent more than 3 years in Zambia as a volunteer and friend of the locsal people. I have become involved in a number of small projects related to the church, local schools and friends out in Monze in addition to keeping an eye on the Hands Around the World projects. These include provision of wells, building houses, supporting children through education etc. etc. I am always happy to involve people from the UK in small local initiatives, though the emphasis should be on developing understanding and relationships rather than giving money. I am happy to live relatively simply and my Catholic faith is a very important part of me and my life. |
