| Introduction | I love startups. I love entrepreneurs. I love how they try to change the world and make it a better place. I have built and sold three startups. All were high tech service oriented companies. The last one was Acteva which is now 10 years old and well know around my part of the world. I however, sold it after only 3 of those 10 years so I must give credit to the current owners for some of that success. I have recently become very active in trying to help entrepreneurs build their businesses and make them successful. I love doing that. I find it to not only be fun but not so hard. It is just a matter of applying my experience to their problems. Making sure though to not make the one mistake that most consultants make. Everyone of these folks have their own style and approach business in their own unique way. It is important that the help I provide does not interfere or try and alter that. This Blog will be about some of those experiences. Each entry will generally be about a specific problem and how we solved it. There will also be some commentary about how I learned and grew from the process as well as the Company. |
