What I do
I lead the Aggregation Web Sites team in ingenta's engineering department. My team and I maintain and develop the application code behind IngentaConnect, we're largely responsible for taking content from our databases and presenting it to users in various interesting forms and formats.
Why
I started out as an Electronic Engineer at BT's Research Labs, but soon side stepped into programming: it let me build cool stuff without all that smelly, troublesome soldering and picking through racks of tiny little multi coloured components.
