Introduction •Educated at the University of Massachusetts in South Dartmouth, Lisa Gizara has been a successful painter & photographer for over 25 years. Her commercial and fine art photographs have been published internationally on billboards and in numerous publications including People Magazine, Variety, La Weekly, LA Times Magazine, Wired, and many others. Gizara’s work can also be found in numerous private collections in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and Las Vegas. She has been awarded two grants to document Westford, Massachusetts the small town in which she grew up. Her thirst for visual beauty has led her on travels around the world including Indonesia, France, Italy, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, California and through out the United States. Her recent attempt at a trans-Pacific crossing aboard a 48’ ketch was a photographic essay published in Ventura Life & Style Magazine. And she has recently been quoted in an article on the artistic process in The Reader’s Digest.
