About Me

I have worked as a professional journalist for 22 years, during which time I have contributed to numerous publications including the Financial Times, Guardian, Independent, Prospect, Sunday Telegraph and the Sunday Times. I am the editor of Fund Strategy, a specialist weekly magazine, where my duties include writing a blog on global economic issues. My book on global finance, Cowardly Capitalism (Wiley, 2001), was recommended by the Baker Library of Harvard Business School . I also contributed a chapter to Cultural Difference, Media Memories: Anglo-American Images of Japan (Cassell, 1997). I am working on a book on contemporary society's unease with popular prosperity.
