| Introduction | Democrat Oletha Faust-Goudeau represents the 84th District in the Kansas House. Building on her success in the Statehouse since 2003, Oletha is the voice of experience and advocacy in the 2008 race for the 29th District in the Kansas Senate. She is a lifelong resident of Wichita with strong roots in the 29th Senate District. Oletha Faust-Goudeau is the daughter of the late Dr. Oletha A. Faust, an avid community activist who championed the rights of the disenfranchised. Oletha Faust-Goudeau learned early the value of hard work and the reward of helping those less fortunate. Oletha Faust-Goudeau made the promise to her mother on her deathbed that she would continue being the voice of community concerns, working to help ensure better education, jobs with a living wage, accessible health care, and fair tax cuts for working and middle-class families. |
