| Introduction | I am a grandmother of four beautiful children and recently retired. After 43 years of marriage my husband passed away from cancer. As a Christian woman God has given me the strength to move forward and encourage other widows. In my spare time I like to fish, garden, shop, and attend my grandchildren's activities. I recently helped start a support group for widows at my church and write the group's monthly newsletter. This support group was started with the purpose of encouraging and building up women who have lost their husband through death, divorce or abandonment. |
