| Introduction | LEAP stands for Law Enforcement Accountability Project. The project was launched in January 2009 at the University of Windsor Law School. LEAP is a student-led initiative that seeks to enhance police accountability and reduce racial profiling in Canada. As a first program of its kind, LEAP will conduct research and policy development on issues surrounding racial profiling and police oversight to the government, public interest organizations, community groups, police forces and members of the public.
