| Introduction | I graduated college with a BA in English. I became an Educational Director at a national learning center for children for almost a year(straight out of college). I then quit, became a waitress until I found my niche...teaching. I became a nursery school teacher for 2 and 3 year old children while I worked at my favorite store (IKEA) part-time. I loved it! I loved both jobs!! Meanwhile, in 2000 I got married to my college sweetheart (the year after we both graduted college). Ultimately, about 2 years later I finally got pregnant and then resigned from teaching, and worked weekends at Ikea. Eventually I moved to Plainsboro and quit Ikea to be a full-time stay-at-home mom. I love being home with my 3 y.o. son and though I do think I will have to eventually go out into the work force again to help my hubby out with the bills, I'm trying to find a way to stay home with my son and hopefully make a living with my art. |
