| Introduction | I love decorating my simple country home, and I love antiques, especially those from the early 1900s era. Stoneware crocks, gingerbread clocks, yellow ware bowls, pewter plates and candlesticks, antique oak dressers and cupboards... just to name a few. And saltbox houses. I love crafting of all sorts, from sewing, to paper crafts, to cross-stitching. I love being with my husband of 30 years, my best friend, who knows me so well. He is my support and the love of my life. We live a simple and quite country life. We like to do home projects together. Spontaneity is a must in our lives, my being prone to migraines and fibromyalgia attacks, plans can quickly go awry without warning. Crafting in my spare time offers a creative outlet for me. It's fun to do projects which give me a sense of satisfaction. I love my family deeply, so this blog will be a tribute to both home and family: Ted, my husband; Stephanie, our daughter currently teaching English in Spain; our son John and his wife Whitney, and our first grandchild, Anna Lynn; and Mister Vic our bulldog.
