Introduction This Community-Based Learning Initiative (CBLI) involves over 100 Princeton University undergraduate students in an upper-division political science course applying what they have learned in the classroom to an innovative real-world research project. The aim of this CBLI is to learn more about how individual choices about food in New Jersey are made within a larger political and economic context through a variety of original research projects ranging from surveys of food availability in New Jersey cities to interviews with local leaders.
