| Introduction | Donnie & I were both born in the Chicago area, but he was raised in northern California. Fate brought him back to IL for college... where we met on the cross country team, and we've been inseparable ever since. We have three boys, Sky, 15, Kaden, 8, and Kaleb, 5, who keep us on our toes! Donnie left the finance industry and joined the military after 9/11. I cannot tell you the nature of his job, but I can tell you that I have never been more proud of him... for his courage and for his sacrifices. His job takes him away from the boys and me frequently... but we wouldn't change our life for ANYTHING!!!! Right now, I'm a stay-at-home mom and full-time college student working on an English Education degree at Auburn University and will be teaching high school in a few years. I also aspire to be a children's author someday. Every day is a new adventure... and we're just trying to enjoy the ride... |
