Introduction Annie loves feeding her family and friends. She is socially conscious, creative, healthy and determined to cook on a budget, with the help of a two year old, while holding down a full time job and completing other various duties as assigned.
Interests I want to talk about recipes that meet my standards Does it create very few dishes in the preparation? Is it made with ingredients that are in my pantry already? Is there 20 mins of less of active time? Does it include vegetable and starch with the meat? No fancy techniques? Is it reasonably healthy? Does a serving cost $2 or less? or is made up of produce that costs less than $2/lb and meat less than $4/lb? Does it make enough for leftovers? Will it be just as good or perhaps even better the next day? and the most important: Does it taste so good that all anyone thinks about it how awesome this meal is? and not that I am on a budget, hate doing dishes, going to serve it to you all week, etc.
