Introduction	I'm a graduate student in ethnomusicology at Brown University. I'm currently doing ethnographic fieldwork on/with/among contemporary Yiddish singers in New York and elsewhere. My research interests include performative translation, discourse analysis, performance theory/practice, diaspora, and the relationship between music and language.
