| Introduction | I am a retired Presbyterian minister and a long-time pastoral psychotherapist. I served as executive director of pastoral counseling centers in Louisiana and in Charlotte. I have also served as a pastor (in Kansas, New Jersey, and Alabama) and a hospital chaplain (New Jersey and Virginia). I am a classically trained pianist, and have been active in equal rights for people of color, for women, and for LGBTs. I am currently Pastoral Psychotherapist in Residence at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte. |
