| Introduction | is a writer, speaker and educator on Islam and its rejuvenation through the advent of the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908). Formerly a Taoist, M.A.Ghaffar accepted Islam Ahmadiyya in 1994 and legally changed his name to Mohammad Abdul Ghaffar shortly thereafter. He writes under the name Jonathan M.A.Ghaffar so as not to scare the natives. Muslims (he figures) should recognize "Ghaffar" as one of the Attributes of Allah and deduce the "M.A." accordingly. He does not go by "Mo" - ever. He is an essayist, humorist, speechwriter, journalist, author, poet, lyricist, editor, radio show co-host and graphic designer. He lives in Chino, CA and writes on many different subjects including politics, social issues, comparative religion, Christianity and the historical Jesus.
