About Me
I'm 41 years old, married 7 years now. I have virtually no first-hand experience with mental illness, at least until recently. But I know there are a lot of people who are dealing with even more than I am, and this blog is for anyone who would like to see how I am handling everything (or not). Hopefully it will help someone, at least me!!! We have a special needs daughter (adopted before all this ever started), she's 15 now. I'm sure you'll read more about her in my posts. I love animals, I always stop to help strays (and take more than a few of them home with me!). I love to read and am ALWAYS looking for something to read--consequently, I suppose you could say that I like to learn, too! Oh--and I'm fascinated with economic stuff. I have no idea where that came from. I took economics in college and absolutely hated it. But I like learning about money, maybe it goes along with the frugal thing...
