Introduction | I grew up in Midland, Texas I went to Midland Lee High School and moved to a small town in Oklahoma outside of Tulsa my junior year of high school. I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball so I have a deep appreciation for those sports. I also grew up hunting and fishing and love the outdoors and all it has to offer here in the Pacific Northwest. I took up martial arts in my early twenties - have participated in forty full contact karate tournaments - have won numerous tournaments in the Southwest including back-to-back Texas State Welterweight Championships. Qualified for U.S. Nationals in 1988 - 1999. I was a self-employed contractor for many years before moving to the technology sector full time in 1996. I've made a living at art having been a successful decorative painter for a number of years. Attended the Day Studio - San Francisco - studied under Mike McNeil. Obtained CNE in 1996 - changed careers. MCSE in 2000 - numerous other certications - CCNA in 2007 and working towards CCNP. |
