About Me

Which fascinating facet first? There's the 40+yo who thankfully looks a decade younger. And the devoted mom to an elementary-aged son, the lover of games, bugs, & cuddles. Also present is the single mom making ends meet. Add a dash of bitter divorcee from a 17 yr marriage, plus a measure of disillusioned ex-fiancee. We are all truly best apart. As I sincerely wish them well on their paths, I simultaneously hope my own journey will lead me to the place called Satisfaction I have yet to find. Despite years of trying, the secondary infertile remains, desperately wanting, & not, another child & knowing it would take divine intervention now. And b/c people are largely defined by their vocation, meet the lab monkey now preferring the stay-at-home life & temperment of an artist & volunteer. One other thing... I realize chirp is not chUrp. To me, chirp is happy and light. However, chUrp is chirp on steroids with a deep, booming TX drawl, even though I've never even been to TX, but I'd like to maybe go one day...

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?

I dreamed that I was reading my son's book, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Spider, and waited for the bat as the next course.
