Introduction	I've been a serious fan and student of comics and cartoons since I was eight years old. My interest has led me into all aspects of the business: I created fanzines, wrote fanfiction and drew amateur strips, and, in 1976, opened a comic book store, CLYDE'S COMICS & FANTASY SHOP, which still operates today. I've written for a number of comics companies including Marvel, Caliber Press, and Shanda Fantasy Arts, and had stories [manga] published in Japan. I'm currently developing a webcomic and researching the history of single-panel gag cartoons (these two projects being somewhat connected).
