Introduction	I grew up in a strongly republican family, however as I started understanding politics and learning the different stances of each party, I found myself to be much more liberal and democratic than my family. I have only been eligible to vote for one election but I chose not to vote because I lacked strong support for either canidate. So in reality I havn't had much political experience, however, by taking Texas Government perhaps I will be more motivated to participate politically.
