About Me

I am a cynical, overweight, failed idealist who aches because the system that he was taught to believe in as a child was an outright lie. But it turns out that our system could actually work if those in charge really did what was right for all of us. And I'm a Democrat. Is that redundant? I strongly believe that what we do to others, and how we do it, especially in the realm of criminal trials and punishment, is the greatest indicator of the strength (or weakness) of our Democracy. As of right now, we are rapidly falling into fascism. I want to see this trend reversed.

If absolute power corrupts absolutely, what does absolute powerlessness do?
